The Role
The Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering is seeking to an enthusiastic Education Assistants to join the SAgE Faculty Professional Services team.

Working as part of the Education Team, You will contribute to the successful delivery of an excellent student and colleague experience. You will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective running of the school’s taught programmes where you will support students, academic colleagues, and education committees. Your duties will span the full student lifecycle from recruitment, registration, assessment, and progression to graduation. You will also be responsible for coordinating key academic committees and processes with particular responsibility for the School’s examination procedures.
We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, which will help you relate to our students, academic colleagues, and senior stakeholders. You should also be adept in organising, prioritising, and managing time effectively to ensure the smooth delivery of education administration. You should have a keen eye for detail and look to identify and implement improvements wherever possible. Working with a variety of stakeholders, you will demonstrate initiative, efficiency, attention to detail and a willingness to be flexible to support the wider team.

Key Accountabilities
- Guide and support students and academic colleagues with standard queries and general requests in an efficient and timely manner, referring onwards where appropriate.
- Work alongside the Education Team to check and update student data using University systems.
- Provide and update documentation and data collection for Education processes which could include updating modules, regulations, and timetabling activities.
- Provide support for School events such as student induction, student social events and University and School visit days.
- To act as secretary to designated meetings and committees including agenda preparation and circulation, producing bullet point actions and monitoring progress of actions.

Qualifications
- Maths and English at GCSE Level 4 or equivalent
- OR relevant work experience in an administrative or customer service setting
